Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jacksonville - Mayport / Beach, an IHG Hotel

The Hotel was clean, modern and affordable. Ended up with a handicap room which I got when asking for a room closer to the main door, as I was exhausted from a multi week road trip and did not have the strength to roll a cart full of suitcases and bags down a long long hallway on the 3rd floor. The bathroom was a bit odd with one common floor from the shower to the rest of the bathroom but wheelchair accessible. Might need that someday.

Clean, no carpets in room! Dove soap and body cream, nice touch! Breakfast cinnamon rolls delicious. About 10 minute drive to beach, restaurants.

We stayed just for a night, and we loved everything about this hotel - it is very well maintained and very clean, the towels and bed linen were white and looked fresh. We liked the breakfast - nothing fancy but still variety was great - hot omelets and sausages, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, pancakes and sweets, tea/coffee. Another good point - they offer a free parking. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and will be happy to book it again. Thank you!
